A process for producing a rigid winding made of a thermoplastic material, for a hollow chamber plate arrangement with two surface layers (1, 2) and a middle layer (3) with slots (4), comprises heating one of the surface layers (1) over the angled region (8) until it becomes visco elastic. The plate is then bent and given the desired form. It is then allowed to cool off and become rigid.
