In-ear programmable hearing aid

An electrical cable is provided for data exchange with a hearing aid. The cable is electrically connected to a circuit in the hearing aid and mechanically fixed to the hearing aid. The free end of the cable forms an electrical connection with a hand-operable device. The hand operable device includes a receiver and/or transmitter for wireless signal transmission. The receiver includes an IR diode for wireless remote control. Alternatively, the receiver is composed of a microphone for wireless ultrasound remote control. The hearing aid is battery-powered.
