Liq filter insert by-pass valve seat formed by ring-shaped filter insert

A liq. filter consists of a housing with a filter insert (3). When opened, a spring-operated valve resting on a seat within the housing allows liq. to by-pass the filter insert. The novelty is that the valve (8) seat (14) is formed by the filter insert (3). The filter insert (3) is ring-shaped. A supporting dome (7) extends into the central cut-out which supports the valve (8) on the dome (7).
