A steel ball (6) locks into a hole in the side surface of the connecting sector shaft (3) under pre-tension applied by a spring fitted in the hole so as to engage a recess (2a) in one inner wall of the driven unit sleeve (2). Each shaft side surface is made up of a flat sector (c) and two inclined sectors (a,b) arranged ahead of and behind the flat sector respectively. The flat and inclined sectors together produce two ridge lines passing over the steel ball. The base sector on the driven component side comprises a square section stepped component (8) to engage the sleeve of this driven component using a single sector step.
