A circuit is disclosed for driving computer modules (10), in particular microprocessors, that contain a monitoring device (24) that supplies a reset signal (23) to the computer module (10) in the event of disturbances (35). The program runs differently in the computer module (10) depending on a comparison signal (17, 18) supplied by a comparator (13) that compares a signal (12) to at least one threshold value (14, 15) that reflects a state of a device (31) that co-operates with the computer module (10). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the device (31) is a servo-motor whose state corresponds to at least one positioning area that is preferably located at least in the proximity of at least one end stop (34) of the servo-motor (31).
