<p>The invention pertains to medicine, specifically, to methods of producing a gas mixture for use in hypoxytherapy and to the medical technology used for obtaining hypoxic gas mixtures. The invention in essence is a portable device intended for use in intermittent hypoxytherapy. It comprises an air depleter, receiver and gas analyser, filtration unit, no-return valve and mask for the patient. The air depleter takes the form of a choke and ventilator, the filtration unit consists of a double channel switch, two airtight vessels based on heat-treated iron hydroxide, two fine dust filters, a filter-steriliser made from ultra-fine fibres of 0.1-0.3 νm in diameter, a heater and blow-through ventilator. The mask is provided with a moisture baffle.</p> |
