<p>Protection is ensured continuously for the painter in a spray booth, esp. for automobiles, operating a spray gun or atomising jets. The possibility of the dripping of spots of paint on to the object to be or being painted, from blocked filters, etc. is also prevented. The booth consists of an enclosed chamber provided with a ventilation circuit by which the air is circulated in the booth and the air extracted is cleaned. System is provided for setting up around the object an enveloping zone of air having a predetermined, preferred direction of motion. The excess paint projected thus collects exclusively in this zone and flows with the ventilating air towards the cleaner. A blowing box feeds pulsed air from outside in a laminar flow from above to an exhaust trough below.</p> |
