PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution by deforming the conventional circuits into one feedback circuit. CONSTITUTION:Quantized noise formation circuit (a) consists of one feedback circuit 6. Adder 5 supplies difference signal y to cut-off circuit 7, and signal y'' is produced between input signal y' of word length b + c + 1 bit and the output signal of circuit 6. Thus, output signal y of word length b is obtained at the output side. while signal y'' is supplied also to adder 8, and the difference signal between signal y'' and y becomes the input signal of circuit 6. In such circuit constitution, the capacity of lower part C + 1 bit of signal y'' suffices for the delay memory contained in the feedback circuit. Then y = y' + P(x). epsilon is obtained, where epsilon is the quantized noise (white color noise) caused by circuit 7. Thus, equivalent noise model (b) is obtained. In this way, the noise spectrum is formed by selecting P(x) properly to reduce the output noise. |
