PURPOSE:To reduce additional mechanisms of simultaneous correction, simplify mechanisms and obviate the creation of factors for errors by enabling the specific time information, e.g., second, to be mechanically and electronically corrected simultaneously and correcting other time information respectively independently. CONSTITUTION:This watch holds the same time information respectively in a mechanical time holding mechanism 10 and electrical time holding mechanism 24 and displaying the same with the second hand 18, minute hand 20, hour hand 22 and photoelectric display device 42, wherein setting of an alarm time may be made to an alarm setting memory circuit 32 by operating a select switch 50 and a set switch 58. The time correction may be accomplished by resetting the second hand 18 to the 12 o'clock position by operating the zero second resetting switch of a correction operating member 56, then the second counter 26 also resets to zero and may thus be corrected simultaneously. Since the time correction of the hour and minute is anticipated of infrequent uses, arrangement is so made that these are separately corrected, whereby the excess increase of mechanical parts and circuit element number is suppressed. |
