PURPOSE:To secure a positive display of the cell consumption to prevent the overlooking of the operator by increasing substantially the effective voltage to be applied to the liquid crystal to display the special mark when the cell voltage drops down to a prescribed level. CONSTITUTION:The display data given from CPU1 is sent to display process circuit 3 to carry out the display process and then displayed at liquid crystal display part 4. Detector circuit 5 detects the drop of the voltage of power source part (cell) 2 to the prescribed level, and delivers the detection signal when the cell voltage drops down to the prescribed level. The detection signal is applied to circuit 3 to display 4 the cell consumption display mark B. In other words, the 9th digit of 1st electrode 41 of display part 4 and the 9th digit of 2nd electrode 42 are composed of cell consumption display electrode element 41g and 42e. Thus, 1st electrode driving signal (a) is applied with the timing by which 2nd electrode driving signal Z in case mark B is displayed. |
