PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a reflection mirror by brazing a heavy surface member constituted of any among pure Mo, Mo alloy, pure W, and W alloy to a soft substrate constituted of graphite. CONSTITUTION:A disk-shaped graphite plate material is prepd. as the soft substrate and a disk-shaped plate material having signal crystal structure is prepd. as the heavy surface member. The brazing surfaces of these two plate materials are polished and the materials are superposed on each other with a brazing filler metal held therebetween. The composite brazing member is produced by brazing the materials while a weight is held placed thereon. The composite brazing member of this invention has the construction in which the heavy surface member consisting of any the pure Mo, Mo alloy, pure W and W alloy is brazed to the soft substrate consisting of the graphite. The satisfactory reduction of the weight by the soft substrate is thereby attained and the excellent reflection mirror characteristics are obtd. by the surface member. |
