PURPOSE:To obtain an aluminum nitride sintered product high in thermal conductivity. CONSTITUTION:Aluminum nitride powder is mixed with 0.1-2.0wt.% of MgCN2 or CaCN3 as a cyanamide compound and 0.1-2.0wt.% of B4C, Al4C3, SiC, MgC2, CaC2, Al3C6, SPC2 or BaC3 as a carbide compound or acetylide compound, molded and subsequently sintered. Thereby, the simultaneous addition of the cyanamide compound and the carbide compound and/or an acetylide compound enables to realize the densification of the aluminum nitride sintered product and the reduction in the amount of contaminating oxygen contained in the raw material and obtain high thermal conductivity due to the remarkable synergistic actions having not been obtained by the single addition of the compounds. |
