摘要 This hard material coated cutting tool is produced by the process of mixing of 80 to 97.5wt.% Si3N4 powder, 1.0 to 5.0wt.% Al2O3 and 1.0 to 10wt.% Y2O3 powder as sintering agent, dispersion addition of 0.5 to 5.0wt.% coating binder of one or more selected from WC, TaC, TiC, NbC and TiN, compacting and sintering, and CVD coating treatment of hard material of two or more selected from TiC, TiN, TiCN and Al2O3. Compared with wear resistance of Al2O3 type ceramic cutting tool and Si3N4 type tool with the second dispersoid by high press sintering method as hot pressing or HIP(hot isostatic pressing), the Si3N4 type toll has better wear resistance by CVD coating of hard material and improving of binding strength of coating layer and Si3N4 base material. The Si3N4 particle size is 0.3 to 1.0 Pm and M- Si3N4 of low temperature phase spheroidal powder. The TiN coating thickness of the outer layer of hard material coating layer is up to 2 Pm.
