PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive wire-stripping work inspection device having a simple structure, wherein it is not necessary to change the attaching positions of light emitting parts and light receiving parts even if the wire stripping work lengths are different, and which can securely inspect the good or bad state of the wire stripping work. CONSTITUTION: Optical paths L between light emitting parts 12 and light receiving parts 13 are shielded by an electric wire W. Inspection is performed based on the output voltages from the light receiving parts 13. The light-emitting parts 12 and the light-receiving parts 13 are attached to blocks 30 of a cutting/ wire stripping unit 3. The light-emitting parts 12 and the light-receiving parts 13 are arranged at the positions, which are separated by a specified distance in the longitudinal direction of the electric wire W with respect to wire stripping blades 3b. At the time of the wire stripping action, the end part of the electric wire in the specified range is continuously inspected along the longitudinal direction. |
