摘要 PURPOSE: To provide the self-excited reactive power compensation device whose rated compensation capacity, cost, and installation space can be set finely in stages over a wide range in single-phase inverter units. CONSTITUTION: The self-excited reactive power compensation device 10a is equipped with a couple of single-phase inverters 11a and 11b and one Schott transformer 12a. The Schott transformer 12a is constituted by connecting a three-phase primary coil 13 and a two-phase coil 14a by Schott connection, connecting the primary coil 13 to a three-phase, three-wire system bus 3, and the two phases of the secondary coil 14a to the couple of single-phase inverters 11a and 11b. The rated compensation capacity and production cost of the reactive power compensating device can be set in units of the couple of single-phase inverters, and the capacity and cost of one set of the couple of inverters and the single-phase inverter can be set in single-phase inverter units, thereby providing the self-excited reactive power compensation device which is economical for a consumer of a power system.
