PURPOSE: To provide a KARAOKE music selector which enables a user to more exactly request the music he desires to sing. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 70 reads out the music number, etc., stored in a RAM 74 transmitted from a KARAOKE machine 30 according to transmission request of data for music selection and requests the transmission of data for demonstration corresponding to this music number when the input by a demonstration key in a key group 62 is made. The data for demonstration is stored in the RAM 74 from the KARAOKE machine 30 via a communication section 79, is read by a musical tone synthesizing section 80 and is converted into analog signals for playing which are outputted to an amplifier 84. The analog signals are outputted as trial playing by headphones connected via a plug jack 64. The user is able to confirm the music selected by himself. |
