PURPOSE: To provide a card capable of avoiding the counterfeit of recorded information and with enhanced security, and also provide a method and apparatus for printing. CONSTITUTION: This card 10 is constituted of a rewriting area 21 and nonrewriting area 22 made by dividing an indication area capable of changing an indication condition through outer energy, and the information recording part 3 of a magnetic recording layer or the like is provided with rewriting prohibitive information as a non rewriting area recorded therein. The printing apparatus has a printing head to the indication area, an eraser pad, and a magnetic head to the information recording area and so forth, and the printing execution program is made to prohibit erase and print to the non rewriting area when rewriting prohibitive information is recorded in the information recording area. |
