PURPOSE: To provide an electric wire and a cable having high fire resistance, abrasion resistance, and flexibility, and excellent in sliding performance too, useful as a moving cable, etc., in an atomic power plant. CONSTITUTION: A fire resistant compound; composed of blending a brominated epoxy resin of 5-60 wt. parts, an antimony trioxide of 1-30 wt. parts, and a phosphorus compound of 0.5-10 wt. parts to a thermoplastic polyurethane of 100 wt. parts; is extrudedly coated on the outer periphery of an insulating core. |
