PURPOSE: To inexpensively manufacture a dielectric filter having a desired frequency characteristic with a high yield by combining the necessary number of dielectric resonators with connection members having dielectric blocks corresponding to a resonance frequency. CONSTITUTION: A large number of dielectric resonators similar to resonators 1A and 1B are manufactured. At that time, the same resonators are not always obtained owing to an error on manufacture, and the resonance frequencies are generated with a prescribed distribution. The resonance frequencies of respective resonators are measured, and the obtained measured values are divided into plural groups with two nearest values in a group. The connection members similar to the connection member 2 are manufactured by the number of the groups. The thickness T of the connection dielectric block is decided in accordance with the average of the resonance frequency measured values of the two resonators in the respective groups. The two dielectric resonators 1A and 1B are assembled with the connection members 2 for the respective groups. |
