PURPOSE: To make it possible to express musical instrument tones approximate to actual timbre changes by solving the problem that the expression of the timbre changes meeting the angles of blow to a mouthpiece is impossible and which is the characteristic of the playing expression of the flute-like musical instrument tones, in a musical tone synthesizer to be used for various kinds of electronic musical instruments, such as synthesizers and electronic keyboards. CONSTITUTION: The waveform data outputted from a waveform data generating section 11 is delayed by half the period of the basic frequency of the musical tones to be outputted in a delay section 12 and is further processed to desired data by the control data from a timbre control section 16 for executing timbre control according to the angle of blowing to the mouthpiece and the interval to be outputted in a filter section 13 and a level control section 14. Further, this data is subtracted from the output data of a waveform data generating section 11 in a subtraction section 15. The timber changes to generate level differences of odd order and even order according to the angles of blow to the mouthpiece which are the characteristics of the flute-like musical instrument tones are thereby obtd. |
