PURPOSE: To automatically house a flash light emitting part with a compact and inexpensive constitution by directly driving a holding member for a flash light emitting part which is turnably attached to the upper part of a camera by the rotation of a driving member. CONSTITUTION: In this camera with a flash device built-in where the flash light emitting part 4 is attached to the camera main body movably up and down, the holding member 5 turnably holds the flash light emitting part 4 on a rotary shaft 36, and the flash light emitting part 4 is moved between a light emitting position separated from the camera and a housing position proximate to the camera. An abutting part 32a provided eccentrically on the rotary shaft of a drive transmitting system 32 rotated by the motor 10 abuts on the holding member 5 by the rotation of the motor 10 to move the holding member 5. By directly driving the holding member 5 turnably holding the flash light emitting part 4 by the rotation of the drive transmitting system 32, the driving mechanism of the flash light emitting part 4 is realized with an extremely simple constitution. |
