PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily collect plural traffic data(TD) and performance data(PD) under one collection condition only by operation such as the addition, deletion and change of a collected data selecting list in order to efficiently and continuously execute a collecting method for TD and PD in which a period in each second, minute and hour and a collection chance are set up due to the generation of an event and the collection of much TD and PD. CONSTITUTION: In a data collecting means 1b for collecting TD and PD, a table registering means 1d registers a collected data selecting list 20 in a second period execution table 5, a minute period execution table 6 or an event execution table 7 in an execution table 8 based upon an instruction from the list 20. An hour period data collecting means 1e for collecting TD and PD in an hour period monitors a clock means 1c in an ATM exchange control means 1a based upon period values stored in the table 8, collects collected data and stores the collected data in the list 20.
