PURPOSE: To provide the ticket device which correctly reads a ticket to correctly operate a gate door even in the case that waterdrops or water of snowflakes or the like is stuck to the ticket inserted to an insertion hole. CONSTITUTION: A pair of upper and lower rolls 15A and 15B one of which is driven by a motor 16 are provided on the inside of a ticket insertion hole 6 provided in a gate main body. A discriminator 10 or the like which reads information of a ticket 7 and a fan 18 and a heater 17 which send a hot blast to the carrying route of the ticket 7 are arranged. Waterdrops, snowflakes, or the like stuck to the surface of the ticket 7 are removed by rolls when the ticket is caught between the pair or rolls 15A and 15B and is sent toward the discriminator 10. |
