PURPOSE: To provide an electrostatic recording device with which high speed recording is possible and discharge quantity of ozone is small. CONSTITUTION: This electrostatic recording device comprises a record medium 1 having a photoconductive layer, an ion current head 5 which irradiates the record medium 1 with an ion current controlled by an image signal so as to form an electrostatic latent image, a developing device 6 for developing the electrostatic latent image so as to obtain a visible image, a transfer device 7 for transferring the visible image to a recording paper 8, and an electric removing light source 4 for removing an electric charge on the record medium 1 by irradiating the record medium 1 with light. |
