PURPOSE: To crush and discharge garbage smoothly by slanting a rotary body attached to the shaft of a motor from the shaft in a garbage disposal apparatus having a feed opening for garbage and a crushing mechanism driven by the motor. CONSTITUTION: When garbage is put into a feed opening 4 and a cock body 16 is set in a cylindrical body 10 with water flowing from a faucet, a magnet works on operation control elements 26, 27 to start the motor 6 of a crushing mechanism 8 directly connected with the motor 6. The crushing mechanism 8 is equipped with a rotary body, or a rotary blade 30 placed freely rotatably on a disk 28, and a ring-shaped fixed blade which is located close to the rotary blade 30 to face it. In this case, the upper surface of a shaft sealing device 34 is positioned above the circumference 28A of the disk 28, and the disk 28 is slanted conically from the shaft 6A of the motor 6 to be supported. In this way, garbage is led to the circumference 28A part to be rushed promptly, and the crushed garbage is discharged quickly from a slanted discharge passage 36 toward discharge opening 38. |
