PURPOSE: To provide a waterproof structure for a hatch cover on the deck of a vessel by which enough waterproofness can be obtained with simple structure. CONSTITUTION: Resin molding banks 41 and 42 consisting of a pair of wood are bonded onto the stage 12 on a deck, and liquid-form resin 70 is charged between them, and thereon an exfoliation layer 60 in sheet shape is overlaid. On the other hand, groove forming members 51 and 52 consisting of square material are bonded to the bottom of the sidewall 21 of a hatch cover, and these are lowered into the liquid-form resin 70, and are rested in the specified position (condition shown by the figure). In this condition, the liquid-form resin 70 is hardened, and resin molding banks 41 and 42, groove forming members 51 and 52, and exfoliation layer 60 are removed, and the sidewall 21 of a hatch cover is placed on the hardened resin layer 30. This resin layer 30 constitutes waterproof structure excellent in charge property, and besides by the existence of the groove, even if the sidewall 21 of the hatch cover moves right or left, the exfoliation by shearing stress can be prevented. |
