PURPOSE: To obtain an excellent adhesion property and moisture and heat resistance and to improve the reliability by incorporating a hardening agent, inorg. filler and solvent and using an epoxy resin having a naphthalene skeleton and plural numbers of glycidyl groups in the molecule as an essential component. CONSTITUTION: This comspn. is a one-pack adhesive compsn. comprising essentially an epoxy resin, hardening agent, inorg. filler and solvent. As for the epoxy resin, an epoxy resin having a naphthalene skeleton and two or more glycidyl groups in the molecule is used as an essential component. It is preferable that this epoxy resin is in a solid or semi-solid state having <=250 epoxy equiv. and is included by >=20wt.% in the whole epoxy resin. As for the inorg. filler, one or more kinds of alumina and silica is used and added by 5-50wt.% of the whole comspn. This compsn. is used for a sealing material of the liquid crystal display element produced by laminating two glass substrates with about 1-10μm gap.
