LARGE-SIZED SYNTHETIC SINGLE CRYSTAL ZEOLITE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To obtain a large-sized artificially synthesized synthetic single crystal zeolite having a constant composition so as to be usable for molecular sieves, etc., and further the maximum diameter exceeding 500μm. CONSTITUTION: This large-sized synthetic single crystal zeolite has the maximum diameter of the single crystal exceeding 500μm. Metallic Si or an Si alloy is used as an Si source and metallic Al or an Al alloy is used as an Al source. The Si and Al sources are dissolved in an alkaline aqueous solution to carry out the hydrothermal synthetic reaction in the presence of Si(OH)4 monomer to produce the large-sized synthetic single crystal zeolite having the maximum diameter of the single crystal exceeding 500μm.
