PURPOSE: To calcine ceramic molded products in a state free from the calcination shortage of the ceramic molded products and in a state easy in the charge and discharge of an atmospheric gas by accumulating and calcining the many ceramic molded products in a box having gas permeability. CONSTITUTION: Many ceramic molded products are received in a box 1 comprising an outer cylinder 2b, an inner cylinder 2c positioned in the outer cylinder 2b and a bottom wall 2a disposed over the lower ends of the outer cylinder 2b and the inner cylinder 2c, wherein the outer cylinder 2b, the inner cylinder 2c and the bottom wall 2a are gas-permeable. The box 1 having the aggregate 6 of the ceramic molded products is placed in the calcination space 4 of a calcination oven 3, and a gas-charging pipe 5 and plural gas-charging pipes 50 are arranged in the inner cylinder 2c and along the outer periphery of the outer cylinder 2b, respectively. An atmospheric gas is charged into the calcination oven 3 through the gas-charging pipes 5, 50 and a gas-charging pipe 51a placed under a perforated plate disposed on the bottom wall 2a, and the calcination space 4 is subsequently heated with a heater 9 to calcine the aggregate 6. |
