PURPOSE: To obtain a yellow recording fluid which gives a recorded image with a high density, is excellent in light resistance, water resistance, and color tone of a recorded image, and has a good storage stability by compounding an aq. medium and a specific colorant. CONSTITUTION: This recording fluid contains 0.5-5wt.% colorant represented by formula 1 (wherein X is a group represented by formula II or III; Y1 and Y2 are each a group represented by formula IV or V; A, B, C, and D are each H, methyl, methoxy, or ethoxy; and l1 , l2 , and m are each 1-6), 5-30wt.% water- sol. org. solvent, and 65-85wt.% water. |
