PURPOSE: To prevent the warpage of a design with respect to a border line by positioning it by a guide marker and punching the border line of a seal. CONSTITUTION: A print pattern in which characters and a design to be printed on a seal are included is color separated, and press plates are formed for the respective colors. At this time, a guide hole marker is included at the plate of the color nearest the profile of the seal. Then, a printing medium is screen printed by the plate which does not include the marker. Thereafter, the medium is screen printed by the plate which includes the marker. Then, a hole is opened at the marker. With the hole as the guide of a pattern punching press, it is punched to cut the profile of the seal. After printing is finished, characters 2 (ABC) 2 and a design 3 indicated by a frame of a broken line are printed at eight pages. Further, the markers are printed at the eight positions with the same color as the design 3. Thus, the irregularities of the width (a) of the right margin of the design and the width (b) of the left margin fall within the difference of|a-bl<=0.5m.
