摘要 PURPOSE: To improve the reaction efficiency and provide a positive electrode active material with a homogeneous composition and a high capacity by reacting a (oxy)hydroxide with an alkali under a specified condition when the positive electrode active material is provided by the reaction of the both. CONSTITUTION: A steam containing an alkali ion, preferably, Li ion, which has a saturation temperature of 17.05-68.13 [kg-steam/kg-dry air] at a temperature of 39 deg.C or more and less than 132 deg.C is imparted to the solid surface of a (oxy)hydroxide (e.g. γ-MnOOH), which is a compound consisting of Ni, Co, Mn, Fe, or a mixture or solid solution and preferably having a 3d transition metal as cation to progress a deprotonating reaction using the oxidation- reduction buffering action of the stream in the protonated part of the solid surface. A reaction for continuously compensating charges of the part charged to minus of the surface by the deprotonating reaction with the alkali ion in the steam is successively performed.
