PRODUCTION OF EXPANDABLE COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: To produce an expandable composition which can give a foam having a specified and desired density by preventing a constituent hydrogen peroxide from being decomposed by metallic ions and adjusting the amount of the constituent hydrogen peroxide with respect to the active hydrogen compound at any desired value. CONSTITUTION: A process for producing an expandable composition essentially consisting of a compound (A) having at least two isacyanate-reactive hydrogen atoms in the molecule, a polyisocyanate compound (B) and hydrogen peroxide (C), comprises the steps of: continuously performing the primary mixing of component A with component C, and performing the secondary mixing of the obtained mixture with component B.
