PURPOSE: To enhance the safety of a device by mounting a temperature detecting means on a target part to control the temperature. CONSTITUTION: A negative electrode 2 receives a power from a power source 14 to form a potential difference with a positive electrode 3. the electron in the negative electrode 2 is collided with a target 4 through the hole of the positive electrode 3 and the hollow part of an insert pipe 5 to emit the kinetic energy of the electron as a braked X-ray, with which a tumor 8 is irradiated. A thermometer 12 is mounted on the peripheral part of the target 4 of a treatment small-sized X-ray source 1, and the output is supplied to a signal line 13. The signal taken out of the body through the line 13 is inputted to a comparator 15, and compared with a temperature set value, and when the signal value of the line 13 exceeds the temperature set value, a signal is transmitted to the high voltage power source 14 to stop the output of the power source 14. |
