PURPOSE: To allow of temperature compensation within all temperature range by a method wherein resistance displacements of a Wheatstone bridge circuit are set in such a way as to be different between first and second elements and third and fourth elements, and to be the same between the first and second elements and the third and fourth elements. CONSTITUTION: As magnetic resistors RA to RD comprising a Wheatstone bridge circuit 1, a magnetic resistor having the same composition and equal temperature characteristics is used and resistance displacements each pair with respect to an applied magnetic field angleθare set so as to be mutually different. With a pattern arrangement, resistance change is mutually in the reverse direction in magnetic resistors RA, RB or magnetic resistors RC, RD with respect to the applied magnetic field angleθ, respectively. The magnetic resistors RA, RC or the magnetic resistors RB, RD are mutually in the same direction, respectively. Thus, temperature characteristics of potentials V1, V2 output from each of connections P1, P2 are offset by taking differential of the respective potentials V1, V2, and temperature compensation is made ranging all temperature scope.
