PURPOSE: To obtain an optical pickup capable of reading out information of two kinds of optical disks with different transparent substrate thicknesses. CONSTITUTION: Reproducing light A in a divergence state radiated from a semiconductor laser 1 provided on a specified position is divided to two luminous fluxes B, C by a beam splitter 2. By adjusting the optical path lengths of two pieces of the divided luminous fluxes B, C by using an optical path length adjusting optical path and an optical path length adjusting lens 10, outgoing light from an optical lens 6 on which two luminous fluxes B, C are made incident are image formed respectively on two different prescribed positions on an optical axis. Further, spherical aberration is prevented by the spherical aberration correcting member 9 of the objective lens provided in the optical path. |
