PURPOSE: To obtain an insertion part which exhibits excellent chemical resistance to an oxidative disinfectant by providing the outside surface of the intracoelomic insertion part of an endoscope including the en-celom insertion part having flexibility with an aliphat. coating layer coated and cured with a coating agent contg. an aliphat. prepolymer. CONSTITUTION: A flexible pipe 5 of this endoscope is constituted by successively laminating a braided pipe 13, a sheath 14 having flexibility and the aliphat. coating layer 15 on the outer periphery of a flex (spiral pipe) 12. A curving part 6 is connected to one end of the flexible pipe 5 and is provided with a sheath 16 on its outer periphery. Connection of this curving part 6 to the flexible pipe 5 is executed by inserting the front end of the curving part 6 onto a connecting mouthpiece 17 until the front end abuts against the front end of the sheath 14 of the flexible pipe 5. Tightening wire 19 is wound around the front end part of the sheath 16 of the curving part 6 intruding into the side of the exposed blades 13 and the small-diameter part 18 of the sheath 14 of the flexible pipe 5. An adhesive 20 is applied on the wound part and further, the aliphat. coating layer 21 is laminated thereon, by which the curving part and the flexible pipe are watertightly fixed. |
