STRUCTURE FOR FIXING CEILING BOARD

PURPOSE: To surely fix a ceiling board to a ceiling substrate so as to provide a fine external appearance in such a manner that ceiling boards are connected together so as not to produce a step on the surfaces thereof and design of ceiling of a room as a whole can be evenly finished. CONSTITUTION: A protrusion 2 and an indentation 3 are formed along the perimeter of a ceiling board 1 made of inorganic fiber board and a large number of small holes 4 are formed over the entire surface of the board 1. The ceiling board 1 is secured to a ceiling substrate 6 by driving nails 5 from the surface thereof into the board 1 and the boards 1 are connected to each other by fitting the protrusion 2 into the indentation 3.
