PURPOSE: To provide an ink jet recorder which can form an image of high quality level without black streak and in which the time required to form the image is short. CONSTITUTION: Nozzles formed in a recording head are divided into groups X, Y, Z, the image thinned off in a main scanning direction P is formed by the nozzles Z-1 to Z-4 of the Z group, the image interpolated from the thinned- off image is formed by the nozzles X-1 to X-4 of the X group, and the image of no thinning off is formed by the nozzles Y-1 to Y-4 of the Y group, and the intermittent feeding of a recording sheet 4 is set to 'e'. |
