The invention relates to a thermostat valve arrangement, preferably for an insert in hot water heating systems, containing a heater valve (6) and a thermostat attachment (2) having therein a working element (3) which can be thermally loaded directly through the conduction of heat by an additional electrical heating device (4) and which has a valve plunger (8) which is located with one end on or inside the thermostatic working element (3) and on whose other end there is arranged a valve disc which when brought into engagement with the valve seat of the heater valve (6) closes said valve when the expanding material (17) of the thermostatic working element (3) expands upon being heated, and the valve plunger (8) is moved in the process out of the thermostatic working element (3). The additional heating device (4) is, with the inclusion of a fastening device, in operational thermal contact with the section of the valve plunger (8) which projects from the thermostatic working element (3).
