An electrostatic filter device is proposed which has a modular construction. Each module (8, 9) has an ionizer (13) and a detachable filter plate (10). In the ionizer, mechanically stable electrodes (14) in the form of toothed strips (15) are attached to a support plate (16). The straight toothed strips (15) are enclosed in grooves in the support plate (16). For cleaning purposes, each module (8, 9) with the plate precipitator composed of the filter plates (10) can be removed from the filter device against the direction of the air flow. Plate precipitator and ionizer (13) can be jointly cleaned in a washing machine. <IMAGE> |
