PURPOSE: To prevent the entering of foreign matter inside a jack terminal by providing a cap which is opened and closed easily in a opening portion. CONSTITUTION: A cap 14 for opening and closing an opening portion 13 is provided inside the fitting portion 12 of a jack terminal main body 1. The cap 14 is formed into conical by plural elastic pieces 15. A guide portion 16 for guiding the insertion of a plug terminal 3 is provided at the tips of the elastic pieces 15. The cap 14 is easily opened by inserting the plug terminal 3 thereinto. When the plug terminal 3 is extracted, the cap 14 is closed by the elastic restoring force of the elastic pieces 15 so that the entering of foreign matter inside can be prevented. |
