PURPOSE: To accurately detect angular velocity alone and separate angular velocity of a rotary motion and acceleration in a linear motion so as to detect them respectively even when a vibrating body moves linearly. CONSTITUTION: This gyroscope is provided with a vibrating body 5 where elastic arms 5a to 5c formed of columnar constant-modulus elastic metal are formed with a constant interval of distance, piezoelectric elements which are respectively fitted to the arms 5a to 5c and vibrate them respectively in an x direction, piezoelectric elements 6a to 6c which are respectively fitted to the arms 5a to 5c and detect the change quantities of the arms 5a to 5c as voltage, an amplifier 8 which amplifies twice the output voltage of the element 6b, an adder 7 which adds the output voltages of the elements 6a and 6c and that of the amplifier 8 to output an angular velocity signal Sω, an adder 9 which adds the output voltages of the elements 6a and 6c, and a subtracter 10 which subtracts the output voltage of the element 6b from that of the adder 9 to output an acceleration signal SA. |
