发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF RADIATION DETECTOR ARRAY
摘要 PURPOSE: To control easily a gap between channels of a radiation detector array, to perform simply an operation of forming a light-intercepting film etc., to improve the precision of arrangement and also to use a scintillator crystal economically in the case when the detector array is manufactured. CONSTITUTION: A scintillator crystal 1 shaped like a rectangular parallelepiped is bonded to a base 2 and separate scintillator elements 1A in a prescribed shape are formed by cutting a number of grooves 3 of a width W1 in parallel in the scintillator crystal 1. Then, separate base elements 2A are formed by cutting grooves 4 of a width W2 in the base 2. On the occasion, the grooves are formed so that W1>W2. After a light-intercepting film 5 is formed on the lateral side of the scintillator element 1A, the elements are gathered again, the lateral sides of the elements are joined together and a photodiode array 6 is fixed by bonding on an array of the scintillator elements.
