The cable connector includes the cable holder (2) which has an inner passage with a curved lower section to hold a stripped multi-core cable (28). The upper part of the holder has a solid section with two longitudinally placed screw threads. The first screw thread holds a screw section (17) with an attached gripping section (21) which tightens on the cable. The second screw section (18) has a pointed end attachment (27) which pierces the cable to make firm electrical contact.
