The device comprises a pair of consoles (2) spaced apart along a wall, having holders (5,6) for receiving a radiator (8). There is a removable cooperating aid which is situated in a predetermined position. The aid has small tubular centering pieces which determine the way the flow and return pipes (10,11) of the radiator go through it. The consoles may have holes or slits for attachment to the wall.
