<p>PURPOSE: To indicate an image in an extent which does not obstruct a sight of a driver corresponding to a vehicle speed and a kind of a road by a method wherein when the vehicle speed exceeds a prescribed value, detailed image information is changed over to simple image information or the indication of the image is stopped. CONSTITUTION: A road kind discrimination means of a CPU 12 discriminates whether a road is a general one or an express one on the basis of information of a data base driver and a position measuring device. A set speed recognition means correlates set speeds to kinds of roads one by one on the basis of the discriminated kinds of the roads for changing over a way of offering information. A speed determination means detects the speed of a vehicle and judges whether or not the speed exceeds the set speed recognized by the set speed recognition means. When it is judged that it exceeds the set speed, an indication image determination means changes detail image information to simple image information in terms of image information indicated on a monitor 28 or stops the indication. At that time, output of voice information from an microphone 34 is stopped.</p> |
