<p>PURPOSE: To provide a detecting power measuring method by which detecting power of a tape end detecting sensor can be continuously measured with high accuracy by using a tape medium without using an existing filter. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic tape 1 whose light transmissivity is continuously changed by changing a thickness of a magnetic layer up to the tape end from a tape top, is made to travel, and analog measurement is performed so as to become detecting power of a tape end detecting sensor when the light from a light emitting part 6 of the tape end detecting sensor is received by a light receiving part 7 after passing through the magnetic tape 1.</p> |
