<p>PURPOSE: To efficiently irradiate a subject with light by guiding the light emitted from a light emitting means in the longitudinal direction of an optical panel through the optical panel and condensing the light toward the subject in order to irradiate the subject with the light from the light emitting means. CONSTITUTION: As for a reflector 2 with a high-reflectance reflection surface formed oh the inside surface, a flash light emitting tube 1 for emitting the flash light as an auxiliary light source for photographing is arranged at a prescribed position, then, the light emitted from the flash light emitting tube 1 is condensed by the reflector 2. By forming a main reflection surface 3 on the reflector 2, components lying near the center among the luminous flux emitted from the flash light emitting tube 1 can be almost made incident on the optical panel 5 without a loss, and also, the incident direction is controlled so as to be arranged within a prescribed angle. As for the optical panel 5 constituted of glass, or a transparent resin, all the surfaces of the panel 5 are mirror- finished so that the surfaces other than the light incident surface and the light outgoing surface may become total reflection surfaces, a light condensing effect and a directional change of light are accomplished with less optical loss, and the light condensed by the reflector 2 is guided to the light outgoing surface.</p> |
