<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximize the range which a base station covers by minimizing the transmission delay of data in a radio communication system which includes base stations which are remote from a concentrator (DCC) and are linked by channels. SOLUTION: Radio base stations RFP1 and RFP2 communicate with terminal equipments CAT1, CAT2, PP1, PP2, and PP3 and are connected to a network RX through a concentrator DCC by a channel cable C. Radio base stations exchange radio frames with each terminal equipment at a first rate D1 of a radio link. These frames are multiplexed and are communicated with the concentrator DCC at a second rate D2 by channel frames. The concentrator DCC reads bits included in received radio frames and distributes D1 bits of radio frames and D2 and D1 bits for operation data encoding to a group of D2 bits of channel frames; and if the next bit of a radio frame is not completely read, a code bit of the operation data is inserted after bits of the radio frame.</p> |
